The five questions we get most
01Do I have to upload anything?
For most venues, no. Invoices from KSeF appear the moment they are issued, the mailbox is checked every 15 minutes, and till data syncs live. Paper you photograph with your phone.
02Do I have to change my till or printers?
No. Owlly works with the till you already have, and your printers and fiscalisation stay as they are — no re-fiscalisation and no change of accountant. Owlly POS (early access) is a separate, optional piece for venues that want a till in the browser.
03Will I meet the KSeF obligation?
Owlly connects directly to KSeF (API 2.0) and pulls your purchase invoices hourly, validates and archives them. The obligation to receive has applied since 1 February 2026, and penalties begin 1 January 2027. Connecting takes about 15 minutes, with step-by-step instructions.
04How does Owlly know my ingredient prices?
From your invoices. Every line is matched to an ingredient in the canonical base, so the same beef from three suppliers has one price and one history. Recipes are costed with those prices, not with a market average.
05Security and GDPR?
Encryption at rest and in transit (TLS 1.3). The database and archive sit in the EU (Google Cloud); invoice content is processed by AI models from US-based providers — Anthropic and OpenAI — as sub-processors under standard contractual clauses (SCCs). The full register is public. We do not sell or share your data, and we delete it on request.
