How do Owlly and CaterMon differ in practice?
Both answer the same question: what a dish really costs. Both take the answer from purchase invoices, not from prices typed in by hand, and both fetch those invoices from KSeF on their own.
The difference is after the invoice. CaterMon takes sales as daily takings: from Dotykačka or from a photo of the fiscal report. It calculates usage from stocktakes: opening stock plus purchases minus closing stock.
Owlly has its own till, so every receipt takes ingredients off stock by recipe. That is why Owlly can forecast sales, propose orders and show labour cost next to purchases.
What does each of them cost?
Both prices are net. For one venue CaterMon costs 399 zł, and Owlly with the till 249 zł. For two venues: 648 zł against 498 zł, because each further venue costs 249 zł net at CaterMon, the same as a venue in Owlly.
Work it out yourself for your venues; it takes two minutes.

Which system makes sense for whom?
